Who we work with

We work with a range of partners from across the public, private and charity sectors who want to support and spread community organising for the benefit of society.

On behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport we are delivering the Community Organisers Expansion Programme to train and support 3500 people to develop their understanding and practice of community organising. As part of this Programme we are leading the development of the National Academy of Community Organising

Funded by Power to Change, we developed a Community Business Peer Network to explore how community organising business models could be developed to support and sustain the practice of community organising. Following this funded programme we are continuing to work with Power to Change to explore how community organising can support and strengthen community businesses.

The KeyRing charity is a national supported living network. We have provided training to 100 of their staff  in our one-day courses so that they can explore how to develop community organising to support their members.

“Socially Organised”

Working with the Strategic Consulting Centre and the British Council in Poland, Community Organisers are supporting the development and application of community organising in two Polish cities; Krosno and Przemyśl.

This 3 year programme involves learning exchange visits as well as providing training and consultancy advice.

We have provided training to over 100 of the Co-operative’s Member Pioneers. We are building on this by developing a bespoke training and support programme so that the principles of community organising can be further developed and embedded within this team.
