Get Your Voice Heard in UK Parliament

This interactive online workshop will provide an introduction to how you can get your voice heard in Parliament.

During this session you will get a full overview of how UK Parliament works, and you will develop an understanding of how to raise the issues which mean the most to you.

We will explore:

  • How Parliament works – elections, MPs and Peers
  • How can you take action?
  • What tools help influence debates, decisions, and legislation?
  • What can MPs and Peers do for you?

The workshop will be run by Tom Williams, UK Parliament’s education and engagement outreach officer for the South West. Tom works with schools and community organisations throughout the region, supporting people to understand how they can better engage with Parliament and get their voices heard.
