We deliver training through our network of Social Action Hubs and quality assured trainers. As a Recognised Training Centre, we are quality assured through Certa/ABC Awards, which is an approved awarding body. We oversee the training and provide support to the trainers.

Want to join us as a Quality Assured Trainer?

We’re always looking for qualified trainers with experience in and commitment to the principles and practice of community organising.

To become a National Academy of Community Organising trainer, you will need to:

  • Become a member of Community Organisers.
  • Attend a three-day course on how to run quality training in community organising.
  • Hold a relevant qualification for teaching adults.
  • Have the equivalent of at least two years’ full-time experience as a community organiser and hold a recognised qualification in community organising, or be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the theory of community organising.
