Volunteers visit the seat of power

On Monday ten of our volunteers visited the Seat of Power and spoke to the Minister for Civil Society Nick Hurd MP. Check out how it went in this short video.

As part of Volunteer Fortnight, ten of our volunteers were invited to Westminster on Monday 7 July to meet with the Minister for Civil Society Nick Hurd MP.

The  volunteers from across England were taken on a tour of the Houses of Parliament, followed by a one hour meeting with the Minister for Civil Society in his parliamentary offices. The volunteers had the opportunity to share some the issues that their local communities were facing, and to discuss ideas of what the government can do to help communities thrive.

A big thank you to all our volunteers who came. You were amazing!
