Community Organiser at NWL Social Action Hub

Paulette is a skilled community organiser and quality assured trainer, with more than 10 years of experience in this field. She is Director of a community enterprise and uses community organising to drive this forward and to support others to bring about social change locally.

Her experience includes overseeing and coordinating a community led campaign to save an important local building from demolition which is now recognised as one of the only remaining heritage assets in the area, designing and project managing a volunteer run community café at the site, and training the volunteers involved.

Paulette has delivered a wide range of successful community engagement events including open air cinemas nights, annual festivals, community picnics, and community gardening events engaging in excess of 500 supporters, including volunteers, local businesses and residents.  Paulette also has experience of fundraising, having successfully fundraised over £100,000.
