By joining as a Social Action Hub you are helping to grow an independent movement of grassroots organisations committed to strengthening communities through organising, participation and action.
This is not a one way membership service. It is a collective effort to build long-term neighbourhood resilience and democratic power and help your community find their voice as was the case in North Birkenhead where they created their own Manifesto which they took to Westminster.

Being part of the Social Action Hub Network enables you to build relationships with locally rooted organisations across the country who are:
- organising in low-income communities
- responding to local issues
- developing community leadership
- creating spaces for participation
- navigating funding and policy pressures
Learn from each other, share practice and act together. Across Haringey and Islington some of our Social Action Hubs have come together alongside the Islington Food Partnership to tackle the issue of food insecurity.
Strengthen your organising practice

- Gaining community organising training for your staff and volunteers*
- developing a Theory of Change for your organisation using the Community Organising Framework
- connecting and sharing best practice with other Social Action Hubs
- attending all our workshops and gatherings
- gaining mentoring and support through our Community Practitioners’ Network

We have three Wildlife Trusts who became Social Action Hubs to embed and strengthen their community organising practice that they gained as part of our training programme across the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts.
