Introduction to Community Organising
We are running the Introduction to Community Organising as part of the Local Wellbeing Networks project in Islington. The project is looking to upskill people living and working in Islington and connect those wanting to play an active role in their communities.
The Introduction to Community Organising course is a starting point for anybody who is interested in community organising and will help them begin to understand what community organising involves and what it looks like in the real world. Participants will be introduced to the foundations of listening, power, and action. Each course will be split in to two sessions and facilitated online.
Dates for part one:
- Tuesday 26th April
- Thursday 28th April
- Thursday 5th May
Dates for part two:

Following this course there will be a small number of places available on the full 6-month online training programme where participants will undertake further courses in Community Organising and Network Building.
