I’m Eve. I’ve been the community organiser at St James Centre (North Birkenhead Development Trust) in Birkenhead for almost 6 years now!
In my first year, I did lots of organising around local history and heritage, supporting the setup of a group which locals after a local historic cemetery, and a family history (which I’ve since used to find out my own family tree!). In my second year I was lucky to go to Uganda and visit and live with communities there.
Since then and back in the UK, my focus has been a lot around food insecurity across the country, and I work closely with other organisations across the Wirral to organise around the causes of poverty and insecurity in our communities.
